Altai State University (AltSU) is a higher educational institution, a classical university in the Altai Territory of the Russian Federation. It was founded immediately as a classical university in 1973. Conducts educational, scientific, cultural and educational activities. It is located in Barnaul with branches in towns and villages of the region. In April 2017, it became one of the regional reference universities.
